Whisper Files is a noir-styled detective puzzle game where every painting hides a clue and every cipher hides a name.

Solve ten interconnected cases. Each case has seven puzzles — a mix of paintings to scrutinize, riddles to crack, ciphers to decode, and logic problems to unravel. Combine the seven clues you collect to identify the culprit.

HOW THE GAME WORKS

Each case opens with a manila folder on your detective desk. Inside: seven evidence files. Some are paintings — look closely for the detail that doesn't belong. Some are puzzles — riddles, ciphers, and logic problems. Some are brain teasers that test memory and observation.

Each puzzle, when solved, gives you a clue. After all seven clues are collected, the case files come together on the corkboard with red string between them. Then comes the final deduction: who, where, when, and how?

The seven clue answers form a pattern. Sometimes it's a name spelled out in first letters. Sometimes it's a location. Sometimes it's a number cipher. You'll figure out the pattern by playing — and the satisfaction of cracking the code is the entire game.

NO ADS, NO TRACKING, NO ACCOUNTS

Whisper Files runs entirely on your device. We don't collect any data. There are no advertisements, no analytics, no third-party trackers, and no login required. Your progress is saved locally on your iPhone or iPad.

OPTIONAL HINT PACKS

Hints are free on the first five puzzles of every case. From the sixth puzzle onward, hints cost one coin each. You start the game with three free hint coins. If you run out, optional hint packs are available — but the entire game can be solved without buying anything if you're patient.
