Automatic booking group chats — For eligible yacht and cabin bookings, the app can create and keep a dedicated group chat for your crew as you get closer to the event (timing is set per event by organizers).
Smarter crew visibility — Host, skipper, and event crew on the Crews tab can be shown or hidden based on event settings (e.g. only in the days before the event starts).
Clearer crew list — Filter guests vs event crew, improved empty states, and pull to refresh even when no one is listed yet.
Reply in chat — Reply to a specific message with previews for text, photos, videos, contacts, and locations.
@mentions — Tag people from the event roster in chats, feed posts, and comments; tap a mention to open their profile.
Unread chat improvements — More reliable unread badges and chat list updates when new messages arrive.
Feed, media & comments

In-app feedback — Answer organizer feedback forms from the feed, with history and detail screens.
Photo markup — Draw on photos before you send them in chat or comments (where supported on your device).
Richer media — Video thumbnails in grids, loading states for images and video, and save to gallery for photos and videos you’re allowed to access.
Tap links everywhere — Phone numbers, emails, and URLs are tappable in feed, comments, itinerary, and messages.
Profiles, reviews & events

Member reviews — View ratings and reviews for crew and staff from their profile (when your event uses reviews).
Starred events — Mark events you care about for quicker access.
Profile updates — Fixes and improvements when editing your profile.
Itinerary — Schedule items with tappable titles and descriptions; pull to refresh on each day’s list.
Role names — Clearer labels (e.g. Event Crew, Photographer, Film Crew, Medic).
Reliability & polish

Notifications — Better handling of push and in-app notification flows.
Timezone fixes — More accurate times for schedules and visibility windows.
Performance — Smoother scrolling in crew lists, chat, and feed; improved touch handling across the app.
Branding — App experience aligned with Yacht Week naming where shown in the product.
For organizers (configured in admin, felt in the app)

Per-event control of when booking chats open and when skipper/host appear in crew visibility.
Automated sync of booking crew into the right group chats as rosters change.
