Onsen now uses OpenAI's latest image model to illustrate your journal entries. The difference is striking — softer light, richer atmosphere, more deliberate composition. And when you set up your avatar, you can share a few photos of yourself, which Onsen uses as references when illustrating your entries. The person in your art begins to consistently look like you across days, woven into different scenes shaped by what you've written.
SHARE PHOTOS WITH YOUR AI GUIDE
Bring your world into the conversation. Snap a picture of what's on your mind — handwritten notes, your kitchen, a walk, the sky outside — and share it with your AI guide directly in chat. Tap the "+" button next to the input, attach up to three photos, and send. The photos you share can also help shape the artwork on the journal entry tied to that conversation — your cafe, your dog curled up on the sofa, the sky on a walk — woven into the illustration.
A POLISHED CAMERA, INSIDE AND OUT
The in-app camera now feels at home on iPhone — pinch-to-zoom that covers the full range smoothly, instant flip between front and back, flash toggle, optional 3×3 grid, and a viewfinder that matches what you'll actually get in the photo.
