Most family tracker apps run continuous background location tracking. We designed HeyPolo to work differently—the person sharing their location has full control and can choose:

▶ When to share: Set the exact start and end times.
▶ How much to share: Choose between your precise location or just a general area.
▶ Who to share with: Select the specific groups (family, friends) that see your location.

REASSURANCE, NOT SURVEILLANCE
Location sharing isn't usually needed all day, only during key moments. Instead of repeating "Where are you?" texts, simply share yours when convenient. Whether you’re walking home alone, arriving home after school, or going on a night out, you can inform your family and friends as needed.

ONE SUBSCRIPTION COVERS EVERYONE
Unlike others, we decided HeyPolo will not charge per member. A single subscription allows you to create unlimited groups & invite family members and friends as needed, no multiple paid accounts required.

PRIVACY & CONSENT BY DESIGN
We built HeyPolo around consent—the person sharing their location has full control. There is no hidden, always-on monitoring.

◉ We do not sell personal location data to advertisers or insurance companies.
◉ We encrypt location data in transit to ensure security.
◉ We collect only the data required for the app to function. We anonymize it whenever possible to ensure critical functionality without overstepping privacy.

▶ Low Battery Alerts: Get notified when a family member's phone battery is low, so unexpected silence doesn't cause unnecessary worry.
▶ Trip History: View recent routes when needed, without continuous background tracking.
▶ SOS Alert: In an emergency, send an alert to your entire group notifying them that you need help.
