Membership is required to participate in the Lettr Dating community. You can apply on a browser at https://lettr.dating/apply or download the app and apply from the home screen.

How Lettr Works

Once your profile is approved, you will be sent login information and must fill out your profile completely (1+ good photos, (3) open ended 200 character prompts, and a few more fields). After, you may browse other members who match your dating preferences. If there is another member you're interested in, it costs (1) stamp to send them an Introduction Lettr. If your introduction is accepted, subsequent communications are free. Every member is given complimentary stamps weekly on Sunday.

What Makes Lettr Different
There are many takes on how to improve the online dating experience. Our hypothesis is that what makes online dating so frustrating is not the lack of users but the inability to tell who's serious and who's not. Adding some reasonable friction (membership requirements, profile completion, minimum length introductions) separates the casual lurkers scrolling out of boredom from real, potential partners.
