Description
The Traditional Roman Breviary is one of the Church's greatest treasures — but keeping your place across six ribbons, multiple volumes, and a changing liturgical calendar can be a real challenge. Divine Office Tracker was built to solve exactly that.
Whether you pray all eight hours or simply Lauds and Vespers, this app helps you stay consistent, find your pages, and cultivate a daily rhythm of prayer.
TRACK YOUR HOURS
Mark each canonical hour complete as you pray it — Matins, Lauds, Prime, Terce, Sext, None, Vespers, and Compline. A progress bar shows how far you've come today, and the app resets cleanly each morning.
REMEMBER YOUR PAGES
Save the exact page numbers for each hour by liturgical day. Assign one of six ribbon colors — Red, Yellow, Purple, Black, White, or Green — to each page slot, matching the ribbons in your breviary. The app remembers where each ribbon goes, so tomorrow's Office is already set up before you close the book.
LITURGICAL CALENDAR AWARENESS
Divine Office Tracker knows where you are in the liturgical year — Advent, Christmastide, Lent, Paschaltide, and all the seasons between. Pages saved for a given liturgical day are automatically recalled the following year.
BUILD THE HABIT
A daily streak tracks your faithfulness to the Office. Earn a freeze every seven consecutive days of prayer — up to three — to protect your streak when life intervenes. Missing one day shouldn't undo weeks of faithful effort.
COMMON PRAYERS
A built-in library includes the Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Apostles' Creed, Deus in Adjutorium, Prayer to St. Michael, Prayer Before the Divine Office, Prayer After the Divine Office, and more — all formatted for reading aloud, phrase by phrase.
SYNC ACROSS DEVICES
Your progress, pages, and ribbon assignments sync across all your devices via iCloud, so your Breviary is always ready whether you're at home, traveling, or in the pew.

Nouveautés (v1.5.0)
Ribbon Colors
Each page entry now shows its ribbon color — Red, Yellow, Purple, Black, White, or Green — matching the physical ribbons in your breviary. The color menu prevents assigning the same ribbon to two different pages by mistake, and greys out colors already in use with a label showing which ribbon owns them.
Streak & Freeze System
Your consistency now earns a reward. Complete your selected hours every day to build a streak. Every seven consecutive days earns one freeze (up to three at a time). If you miss a single day, a freeze is used automatically to protect your streak — though freezes can't be used on back-to-back days.
Setup Next Hour
After finishing an hour, tap "Setup [Next Hour]" on the completion screen to immediately record your ribbon and page positions for the next Office of the day — while the book is still in your hands.
My Breviaries
Settings now shows a checklist of the breviaries you own. Add custom editions beyond the built-in options, giving them whatever name you like. The guided Office view filters to show only the editions you've marked as owned.
Common Prayers — Reformatted
Each prayer is now laid out phrase by phrase, with clear paragraph breaks between sections, making them easier to read aloud or follow along.
Support & Feedback
An easy link to support the app's continued development and a feedback email are now in the About section of Settings.
