Zener Game

Zener Game is a minimal, meditative app to explore and train your intuition using the five classic Zener symbols: circle, cross, waves, square, and star.
Inspired by the deck designed in the 1930s by psychologist Karl Zener for extrasensory perception (ESP) research, the app replaces physical cards with an algorithm that picks a symbol each round. Your task is to perceive which one was chosen and tap it.
No physical deck, no pressure — just you, five symbols, and a quiet moment of focus.
FEATURES
• Two deck modes
— Random: each symbol is drawn independently.
— Balanced: a shuffled virtual deck with an equal number of each symbol, closer to the classic paper test.
• Flexible sessions
Choose 10, 15, 25, 50 rounds, or set any custom number from 5 to 200.
• Customisable feedback
Three independent toggles let you decide what to see during play: round counter, hits & accuracy, and whether to reveal the correct answer after each choice. Turn them all off for pure intuition.
• Rich statistics
Every completed session is saved locally. Track sessions, total rounds, average and best accuracy, longest streaks, and per-symbol performance.
• Scientific color mode
An optional setting switches the colour thresholds from simple to statistical: green appears only when your result is statistically unlikely to be chance (outside ±2σ of 20%).
• Calm audio
Soft ambient background music and gentle tap sounds, both independently toggleable.
• Export your data
Generate a clean text report of all your statistics and share it anywhere.

Zener Game is designed to feel like a quiet moment. Warm cream paper, Japanese-inspired minimalism, hand-crafted symbols, soft serif typography. Nothing screams for attention — everything invites focus.
PRIVACY
All your sessions are stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded, no tracking, no analytics. Your intuition is yours alone.
