Description
LessNic — quit nicotine pouches, quietly
Quitting nicotine pouches isn't a numbers game...
No fancy dashboards. No fancy trackers. Nothing to get distracted by — because less is more.
The whole interaction
Open LessNic. Tap the dispenser. Take your pouch.
That's it. The app handles the rest.
It quietly trims how many pouches you can have each day, but you'll never see the number. The pouch count in the dispenser is intentionally fuzzed so you can't game it. You just tap when you need one — and one day you don't need any.
The only number you'll see during your quit is money saved. Everything else is locked until you finish, on purpose.
Day 0 is honest
Your first day is an observation day. Use however many you'd normally use, no judgment. The app uses that to figure out where you actually are, then builds your plan from there.
Free
A simple linear plan: your daily limit drops by one pouch per day until it's zero. It works.
Pro
The plan gets smarter. Every night you answer one question — how today felt, one tap. The app reads that signal and adjusts tomorrow. Rough day? It loosens. Good day? It nudges. You pick a target between 14 and 90 days, and you can re-anchor mid-journey if life gets in the way.
Pro also gets you:
• Urge Surf — a 3-minute wave timer with affirmations. Cravings rise, peak, and pass. Ride it instead of feeding it.
• Craving Journal — log intensity, trigger, and what set you off. Spot your real patterns.
• Discrete Mode — re-skins the home screen as a casual mobile game called "CandyPop." A glance over your shoulder reveals nothing.
• Stats unlock — once you've quit (or earlier if you really want), see the whole journey: money saved, money spent, daily history, streaks.
When you hit your limit
The app doesn't lock you out. It just adds friction. First a 24-second guided breathing exercise. Then a screen that makes you read the reason you started. Still going? You can log "extras" honestly. The algorithm reads honesty as a signal to loosen the next day, not punish you. Beating yourself up is what creates the spiral. We don't do that here.

Privacy
No tracking. No ads. No data selling. No leaderboards. Sign in with Apple, that's it. Your data lives on your phone. Delete your account in-app and it's actually gone — RevenueCat session ended, Apple token revoked, every key wiped.

Heads up
LessNic isn't a medical device and it isn't therapy. It's a tool to help you reduce on your own terms. Quitting nicotine can be rough — irritability, anxiety, bad sleep, real cravings. If you're pregnant, have a heart condition, or take medication that interacts with nicotine, talk to a doctor before changing your habit. If you're in crisis, contact emergency services or call 988 (US).
Who it's for
Adults (18+) who use nicotine pouches and want to use fewer. That's it. Built by someone who's been there.
Open the app. Tap before you pop one in. Let the dispenser do the worrying.
Less Nic. More you.

Nouveautés (v1.0.1)
Thanks for the warm reception of LessNic! This update addresses the top feedback from the first week:
• Fixed duplicate notifications — some reminders were arriving twice a day. Your schedule will reset cleanly on first launch.
• Removed the breathing exercise and re-type-quit-message prompts on your last two pouches of the day. Several of you told us those gates felt punishing in the middle of a craving instead of supportive. The hard cap and your personal quit-reason reminder are still there when you need them.
• Smoother notification handling when toggling reminders on and off in Settings.
Keep the feedback coming — and good luck on your journey.
