Description
Ketabi is a companion for your heart and your deen. It brings the remembrance of Allah together with simple tools for emotional wellbeing, drawn from psychology and therapy, so caring for your mental health and growing closer to Allah become one practice.
The journal is the heart of Ketabi. Drawing on ideas from cognitive behavioral therapy, it helps you name what you are feeling, tell apart what is true from what your mind is adding, and reframe it through the Quran. Choose from twelve states of the heart, from anxious to grateful to struggling with faith, and receive a reflective prompt paired with an ayah. You can also reflect on any surah through Tadabbur, write freely, or add a voice note.
When you finish a reflection, Ketabi offers Breathe and Remember. This opens a short breathing session, about a minute long, matched to how you are feeling. Each breath is paired with dhikr and haptic cues that guide the rhythm, for example Ya Hayy when you are anxious, Ya Rahman when you are heavy with sadness, or Alhamdulillah when you are grateful. You can also open the Tranquility section any time and choose a breath for yourself.
Inside Ketabi:
- Morning, evening, after salah, and before sleep adhkar, each with Arabic, transliteration, translation, source, and virtue
- A journal with twelve states of the heart, Tadabbur reflections on the Quran, free writing, and optional voice notes
- Five guided breathing patterns paired with dhikr, for anxiety, anger, sadness, gratitude, and rest
- A daily check-in to notice how present your heart is, set an intention, and see it again the next day
- The Gardens of Jannah, where reciting Al-Ikhlas builds palaces and SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi plants date palms
- Adhkar suggested for the time of day, plus optional daily reminders you can turn on
Ketabi keeps your reflections private to your account. There are no ads and no tracking. It is free with no paywall, with an optional one-time tip if it has helped you.
Ketabi is not a replacement for professional care. It is a daily place to steady yourself and turn to Allah, wherever your heart is that day.
Thank you for growing with us.
Nouveautés (v1.5.0)
This update makes your daily adhkar easier to follow. Every dhikr and short surah is now written out in full, so you can read along even if you have not memorized them. Your place is saved, so you resume where you left off. We also simplified the adhkar screen, fixed the journal prompt shuffle so prompts vary, refined the app icon, and made small design fixes throughout.
