The Oakland Portal mobile app offers an integrated system providing real-time information on marine terminal turn times and resources for portal users, including truck drivers, dispatchers, and port staff.

About us

The Port of Oakland, located in California within the San Francisco Bay metropolitan area, it was the first major port on the United States Pacific Coast to construct terminals specifically for container ships. The Port of Oakland has developed into the premiere port for refrigerated cargo exports, maintaining a market share lead over the years. The port has heavily invested in its infrastructure, resulting in the culmination of over a decade of planning and construction, which was marked in 2002 with the establishing of an intermodal container handling system, resulting in a high-volume cargo facility. This strategic development positions the Port of Oakland for further expansion within the West Coast freight market share.

Oakland Portal Feature Overview

Marine Terminals: Access pregate wait times, turns times and camera snapshot views for real-time conditions at each terminal.
Vessel Operations: Determine which vessels are en-route, at the port, due to arrive, or due to depart.

Traffic & Cameras: See real-time regional traffic conditions, camera snapshot views, as well as local weather conditions at the Port.
Smart Parking System: Request reservations, manage your account and submit payments.
