Nothing beats meeting people in real life, but putting yourself out there can feel scary. We built Mesh to make it easy: no swiping, no awkward one-on-ones, just small group meetups at local venues (curated groups of ~4).
Mesh in three simple steps:
1. We send you an invite text message once a week with a time and a local cafe. You then decide if you want to go that week, no pressure!
2. Open the link and click "yep" or "nope"
3. We curate a group of four for you using a short personality quiz. Show up with a smile and have fun!
We're maximizing the percentage of humanity that meets in real life!
You meet your group at local venues such as coffee shops and cafes :)
A few more details:
- We have three main events: Coffee Saturday at 10 am, Mesh night at local breweries and night venues on Thursdays at 7 pm, and Mesh events where users host the events at local places around your city. All of these events are in small groups of four! (We send multiple groups to the same location).
-We send the invites on Wednesday. If you click "yep", we'll curate a group of four on Saturday!
-You will get the photos of your group at 8:00 am on Saturday. If at any time something comes up, no problem, just cancel before midnight on Friday with no penalty.
Make friends over coffee!
Its more fun to meet people that you might be interested in dating in a group setting!
-Drink coffee (or your preferred drink) while exploring your city, try new things, and meet really great people.
We are currently sending invites to Madison, Milwaukee, Nashville, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Minneapolis!
*Sign up in your city, and we'll text you when we start sending invites! (We're launching new cities every month, so you won't have to wait long!)
Once your city hits 500 signups, we will start sending invites! We need 500 people signed up in your city to help maximize the chances of you meeting people your age. If you'd like to help us get to 500 sign-ups in your city, please share us on social media, and feel free to reach out to us for content ideas or collaborations! We'd love to accelerate the rate at which people can meet their people in any city.

If you're looking for an alternative to dating apps or are tired of only meeting people by swiping, this is the app for you! Mesh isn't a dating app, but when you get out and meet real people, it's a great way to put yourself out there and meet real people in person! If you want to host fun events like people do with Pie, we have a specialized algorithm to make the social dynamics feel fresh and safe!
Connections are always in public, in a group setting. We never sell your data. We store it securely with Google.
