"The Other Side ofMist and Mountain" is a new form of AVG text adventure game with various playing methods, in which the names of the male and female protagonists include two imageries: "Mountain" and "Mist".
The place names in the game also revolve around "Mountain" and "Mist".
"Mist" literally refers to the fog in the mountains, which is mysterious and elusive, appearing and disappearing randomly; while "Mountain" is stable and perpetual, not eroded by time. The two imageries align with the game's mystery-solving plot design and are metaphors for the plot's development.
The theme of this game is mystery solving, with "Mist" representing the puzzles and "Mountain" representing the objectively existing truth. Players need to unravel the mystery and seek the truth based on clues.
