Version 2.0.8 — Floating Tab-Bar Redesign
This update introduces a complete visual redesign of the navigation bar for both Sender and Jett roles, bringing a more modern and immersive experience throughout the app.
FLOATING GLASSMORPHISM TAB-BAR
The tab-bar now floats above the content with a frosted glass (glassmorphism) effect, styled as a rounded pill separated from the device edge. The design adapts automatically to iOS and Android safe areas, ensuring correct positioning on all devices including notched iPhones.
Key improvements:
• Floating design: The bar hovers over content for a layered, premium look
• Glassmorphism effect: Semi-transparent navy background with blur and soft border
• Safe area support: Correct positioning on all device models including Face ID iPhones
ANIMATED ICON SYSTEM
Each tab now uses two icon variants — an outline version when inactive and a solid filled version when active — switching with a smooth 0.2s transition and a 1.2x scale effect.
• Active tab: Solid white icon, bold label, 1.2x scale
• Inactive tabs: Outline icon with semi-transparent white
• Smooth transitions across all state changes
JETT NAVIGATION UPDATED
The JetPacker tab-bar now includes an airplane icon for the Itineraries section, better representing the traveler identity of the Jett role.
BUG FIXES
• iOS safe area spacing corrected: Resolved a double compensation issue where Ionic's internal tab-bar padding was stacking on top of our positioning logic, causing a visible gap below the icons on iPhone devices.
• Content padding: All main tab pages now include automatic bottom padding so content is never hidden behind the floating bar when scrolling to the bottom.
