Hebrew Worship

Hebrew Worship is an app allowing you to learn Hebrew (or just understand it for a start) without studying, by watching Jewish liturgy videos.
So you can listen to beautiful cantorial music and learn Hebrew in the process, without studying by rote.
It provides translation time-synchronized word-to-word.
The app keeps track of the words you know. Words that you need to learn are color-coded to get you immediate visual association between Hebrew and English words.
Other words have color underline: green, if you already know it, or red, suggesting that you can learn it later.
If you miss a word or need more time to read a line, tap the video - it will repeat the line in a loop until you tap again. Seamless music loops help you master difficult passages.
Selecting Quiz in Settings (available on the video screen) gets you a quick quiz after each stanza to reinforce learning. The quiz takes just a few seconds, to minimize interrupting the experience. Once you guess a word correctly in a quiz, the word becomes green, is considered known. You can also tap any word and change its color manually.
You can add words to your word list by tapping a word and tapping the star icon on the dictionary popup.
In addition to in-video quizzes, you can train vocabulary with flashcards and multiple choice questions. As in in-video quizzes, three right guesses in multiple choice questions make the word known. You can do these exercises both in a video and in your word list.
