Description
Profiles told us nothing.
Swipes and likes turned into an endless dopamine chase.
Small talk felt exhausting.
When you finally met, it was often too late for anything real.
Known is different.
Built on knowing you first, not rushing you into a date.
Not a game.
Not a job.
Not a gamble.
In early testing, 80% of Known introductions led to in-person dates. Not chats that fizzled. Not threads that died. Real dates, in real life.
HOW IT WORKS
1. A voice conversation, not a form
It starts with a call. No multiple-choice questions. No prompts to fill out. You talk, and Known listens to who you are, how you live, and what you actually want. Most members spend about 26 minutes on the call because the conversation goes deeper than a profile. By the end, Known understands you in a way pictures and bios never could.
2. One introduction at a time
There is no feed, no endless queue, and no feeling that someone better is one swipe away. Known sends a single, hand-picked introduction chosen from what it learns about both of you. Your profile is written for you dynamically and updates as Known gets to know you better.
3. Twenty-four hours to say yes
Both people have a day to accept. If you both say yes, Known moves things forward. If either person passes, the introduction closes and Known finds the next match. This keeps interest from drifting into dead messages and forgotten conversations.
4. Curious? Ask Known
Before you meet, ask Known anything you want to know about the other person. The questions you would usually wonder about but never fully find out from a bio. Answers are based on what Known has learned about them.
5. The date, handled
When interest is mutual, Known takes care of what happens next. It checks calendars, selects a restaurant that fits both of your tastes, dietary needs, budget, and vibe, and makes the reservation. When you arrive, the only thing left is to meet.
6. After the date, a quick check-in
A short follow-up conversation after each date helps Known sharpen future introductions. Over time, it learns what actually works for you, not just what you said you wanted.
