Description
Diggato is an open-world collecting and documentation app that turns your camera into a fast capture-and-catalog tool for anything you want to organize. Unlike typical collector apps that lock you into one niche and one rigid set of fields, Diggato lets you build collections your way—records, cards, books, tools, toys, plants, parts, or any group of objects you want to track.
Just scan and capture: Diggato uses AI image recognition, OCR, and AI-enhanced search to handle the repetitive documentation and data entry for you, then layers in tags, marketplace and context links, and high/mid/low value estimates so you can understand what items are and what they may be worth. You can edit the results, export your tables, and download all your data anytime, so you stay in control.
You decide what to collect, how to structure it, and what you do with it—Diggato supplies the speed, the data, and the power to keep your collection truly yours.
Backstory:
Diggato was born of one collectors' desperation- progress had frozen, with stacks of items, and no clear way to make space and digest BOXES of things. What's even is in this box? These are good items! Good news - that "pile of things" day has come.
Any collector, gatherer, archivist, or anyone needing to document "too much stuff" can understand. A tool is needed that supercharges the heavy lifting of data entry, and catalogue items into useful, searchable, customizable, un-gated content. Whether you are managing a collection, or simply capturing what's in your home- Diggato makes it EASY. Just aim your camera at the item you want to document, click and submit. After a little while, you'll see an analysis of the object you captured- jam packed with useful data, links, a range of estimated value, and more. All the data can be exported to .XLSX or .CSV format. Use those sheets to do a million things - including document your collection, or build lists and sets.
Open World Collecting:
We call Diggato an 'open world' collectors app, because we designed Diggato to be useful with any type of object - We don't tell you what to collect, or which piece of data you can keep from the AI-enhanced analysis. Collect things on your trip down the street - Diggato is a great documentation tool. If you like flowers, collect those! If you like T-shirts, sneakers, tools, all sorts of things can be recognized and detailed. Got a special or unique collection? Diggato it!
Collect Text and Data:
Keep up to 1000 characters of text per submission, thanks to OCR (That's optical character recognition- it reads letters in images!) So most signs, product labels, messages, or documents can be captured and kept in high fidelity with the full text- now copyable and editable. Say what? Diggato's a business tool, AND an inventory intake system? Wait, what? Why ever transcribe anything ever again. Here's a tip - DONT! Diggato has your back with information capture. You can load images from your device's camera gallery and files - your photos can also be analyzed.
Estimate Value of Items:
Diggato analysis provides a range of values for each item you catalogue. This is compiled by multiple searches across the internet for comparable items. Often, Diggato can locate and link to the exact item, and provide an estimated value based on live pricing data sourced from the internet. This function is great for thrifters, crate diggers, resellers, and treasure hunters. Use Diggato and get estimates for anything you want. (USD Only). Diggato Value Estimation data and prices are for evaluation purposes only, and should not be considered an appraisal, financial advice, or as a recommendation to purchase or sell anything.
