KNOWN BUGS
• Limited accuracy when sub-components display an assembly part number
In some photos a small piece (e.g., a pulley or bracket) may show a stamped or printed number that actually belongs to the larger assembly it is attached to (such as an alternator). When this occurs, MechanicML can misidentify the item pictured as the larger assembly instead of the individual sub-component. We are working to improve this edge case, but for now please verify results when photographing parts that carry assembly-level markings. You have the option to edit the part identification before performing a product search.
