GUEST MODE
You can now use Flaresat without creating an account. On the sign-in screen, tap "Continue without account" under the RADIO section. Create and join Radio groups, drop pins, draw routes, chat over the mesh, and connect a LoRa radio device — no sign-up required. Sign in any time from your profile to unlock cloud groups and sync features.
LORA TRACKER GEOFENCING
Alert zones now also monitor LoRa radio trackers (Meshtastic and MeshCore) in addition to named group members. When a tracker crosses a boundary, you get a notification and a system message in the group chat. Works in the foreground and while the background radio sync task is running.
CLICKABLE AREA LINKS IN CHAT
Geofence system messages now include a tappable link to the area that was crossed. Tap the area name in the notification to jump directly to it on the map.
MAP IMPROVEMENTS
- Selected pins, routes, and areas now show a clear highlight so you always know what's active.
- User avatars show a dynamic border color based on how recently their location was updated.
BUG FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS
- Chat notifications are suppressed when you're already inside the relevant group.
- Geofence state handling refactored for better accuracy — fixes edge cases where alerts could fire twice or be missed.
- Sign-in flow fixes, onboarding walkthrough improvements, and org page stability.
- All MeshCore links updated to meshcore.io.
