Your pocket guide to the Pines. Play tab: See who's around. Browse profiles and connect with others in the neighborhood. Connect tab: Stay in the loop. Read community posts and send direct messages. Share tab: Show off your Pines moments. Post photos to the community feed. Directory tab: Find local businesses, from restaurants to rentals, all in one place. The Directory and Exchange tabs are available anywhere, so you can plan your trip before you arrive (access to Play and Share tabs restricted to only those in Fire Island Pines.)
What's new (v1.5)
- Share tab: newest posts first — The Share feed now shows newest posts at the top instead of oldest-first.
"Load more" loads older posts at the bottom. (iOS + Android)
- Directory: website domains shown — Directory listing website buttons now display the actual domain name
(e.g. "example.com") instead of generic "Web" text. (iOS + Android)
- People disappear after 48 hours of inactivity — Users who haven't opened the app in 48 hours are no
longer shown on the Play map. (backend change, visible in-app)
- App usage tracking — The app now records each session open for analytics purposes. (iOS + Android)
