Hey this is Naomi, I’m 20 and I teach piano lessons in New Zealand! Most of my students are 5-10 years old, and I realized that kids are really good at memorizing their pieces instead of learning how to read the notes!
Parents would often ask me if I knew of any good apps that they can use to make sure they’re learning the notes, but all the free ones I could find were kinda confusing for kids and honestly adults too.
I figured it couldn’t be THAT hard to make an app myself, so I roped in Bailey, a friend from high school to help me. It took like half a year to make, but I think you’ll love it!
Vivaci is super minimalist, and you can start by just learning the first five notes that you’ll be playing all the time. I lowkey think even if you’re an adult this is STILL the best beginner app.
