What's new (v1.0.3)
This version adds Live Activities for crew members, making it easier to keep track of active shifts and lunch breaks throughout the workday.
When a crew member clocks in, Crewtrace can now show a live shift timer on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island on supported iPhones. Instead of opening the app repeatedly to check whether a shift is still running, crew members can quickly glance at their phone and see that they are currently on the clock.
Lunch breaks are easier to manage too. When a crew member starts lunch, Crewtrace displays a live 30-minute countdown so they can see how much break time remains. The expanded Live Activity also includes a quick resume option, helping crew members get back on shift without digging through the app.
These updates are designed to reduce common time tracking mistakes, including forgotten clock-outs, missed lunch resumes, and confusion about whether a worker is still clocked in. By keeping shift status visible in the places crew members already check, Crewtrace helps teams capture cleaner time records with less back-and-forth.
This release also includes improvements to the Live Activity layout, spacing, timers, and Dynamic Island presentation so shift and lunch status are easier to read at a glance.
