• Location

Nearsy uses your location to show nearby profiles in real time. Location data is used only for this feature and is not sold or shared.

• Contacts (Optional Feature)

If you choose to enable contact matching, Nearsy securely reads phone numbers and email addresses from your contacts to identify whether a nearby profile is already someone you know. Contact identifiers are transformed into secure one-way hashes on your device before being transmitted. We do not upload contact names or your address book. You can disable this feature at any time, which removes stored hashes from our servers.
