HOW IT WORKS
Pickleball Weather evaluates multiple factors every hour to determine playability:
- Precipitation - rain, drizzle, or snow
- Wind speed - too breezy for consistent play?
- Temperature - too hot or too cold?
- Humidity - heat index matters when it's warm
- Daylight - is the sun still up?
- Ground wetness - are the courts likely wet from recent rain?
- UV Index - avoid harmful UV radiation
- AQI - monitor air quality to keep your lung healthy
Each factor is rated independently, and the overall rating reflects the worst condition. If it's sunny and warm but the wind is howling, you'll see Yellow or Red with a clear explanation why.
