RipCat 1.2 is a full Today screen tune-up for faster tide checks, cleaner surf planning, and better offline confidence.
What’s new:
- Cleaner Today layout with spot and formatted date first.
- Inline calendar/date selection that refreshes the same screen.
- Combined Current Tide, Low Tide, and Live Activity tracking.
- Solar Tide Dial now sits above the Tide Curve, with both controls linked in real time.
- Live sun and moon positions now move with the selected tide time.
- Cleaner Tide Curve marker with a subtle reticle instead of the old red marker.
- Future Sun & Moon Schedule events can now be tracked live, including next-day moonset when eligible.
- Recently loaded tide data is cached for offline use and shared with Apple Watch.
- Dark mode, pull-to-refresh title behavior, watch icon presentation, haptics, and release metadata were cleaned up.
- visionOS support remains in place with a corrected layered app icon package.
