Description

MedTrainer is a clinical reasoning simulator for medical students and residents.

The app recreates a real patient encounter — from the first contact with a patient all the way through examination, diagnosis, and treatment. Every decision you make is evaluated, so you instantly see where your reasoning was sound and where you made a clinical error.

HOW THE SIMULATOR WORKS
- Patient Card
Review the chief complaint, medical history, and physical examination findings — exactly as you would in a real clinical setting.

- Ordering Tests
Select the laboratory and imaging studies you need. Unnecessary orders are factored into your score, just as they would be in real practice.

- Diagnostic Images
Analyze X-rays, ECGs, and other imaging directly within the app.

- Making a Diagnosis
Formulate your clinical diagnosis based on the workup. The system compares your answer to the reference and highlights any discrepancies.

- Treatment Planning
Choose a management plan in line with current clinical guidelines. The app flags any deviations from evidence-based standards.

- Evaluation & Debrief
At the end of each session you receive a full breakdown: what you got right, which steps need more work, and your overall score.
