What’s New
This version makes scanning feel faster and smoother, with less stopping between cards and a better payoff after every successful scan.
Less Scanning Friction
Clean, confident scans can now skip the manual “Pick the matching card” step and go straight to the result screen. When Scanimo is not fully confident, the existing manual pick/search flow still appears so users stay in control.
The scan flow also now uses a dedicated processing screen while Scanimo identifies the card. This prevents the manual selection screen from flashing briefly before an auto-accepted scan, making the transition feel cleaner and more intentional.
Successful scans now land on a unified card detail/result screen, whether the card is new or already in the binder. Duplicate scans show the message:
Already in your binder.
The scan loop is easier to continue, too: fresh scan results now keep “Scan Another Card” available as a sticky bottom action, so users do not have to scroll back to the top.
Improved Card Detail Screen
The detail screen now leads with the card payoff: a larger card photo, name, type, HP, set/number, and prominent Power and Cool scores. Power and Cool have more visual weight, including a subtle shine and count-up animation after a fresh scan.
The page order has been improved so the most interesting kid-facing content appears earlier:

Core Stats is now more condensed, reducing repeated HP/type information already shown in the hero. Weakness is surfaced as a small always-visible chip, and the “Why this card is cool” copy has been made more engaging and less generic.
