Description

BDLaws helps people in Bangladesh find laws, gazettes, government circulars, tenders, jobs, tax materials, and court-related guidance in one mobile app.

You can ask legal and procedural questions in English or Bangla and get readable answers with supporting source citations. The app is designed for everyday legal research, practical guidance, and quick access to official materials without manually searching across multiple government sources.

Core features:

- Ask questions in English or Bangla through a chat interface
- Get AI-assisted answers for Bangladesh legal, tax, tender, court, and job-related topics
- Review source citations attached to answers so you can open supporting materials
- Search official documents with filters for type, authority, status, and date
- Read legal documents and government materials directly inside the app
- Save important documents and AI answers for later review
- Organize saved items with tags
- Share saved content when needed
- Create tender and job watches stored on your device
- Enable push notification permissions for future alerts
- Keep recent activity available through local caching

BDLaws is built to support a wide range of Bangladesh-focused information needs, including:

- Laws and legal procedures
- Government gazettes and SROs
- Circulars and official notices
- Public tenders
- Government job and exam information
- Tax and customs topics
- Court and procedural guidance
- Frequently searched practical topics such as family law, land issues, inheritance, labour rights, consumer rights, cyber issues, NID correction, cheque bounce matters, and General Diary related questions

The chat experience supports scope selection, so users can focus their questions on laws, tenders, jobs, tax, courts, or search across all supported areas. The app also includes example prompts and quick topic suggestions to help users start faster.

The search experience is designed for serious document discovery. Users can search by keyword, narrow results by document type, filter by status, add issuing authority filters, and limit results by date range. This makes it easier to find relevant materials such as laws, gazettes, circulars, jobs, tenders, and related official documents.

For users who want to keep important research, BDLaws includes a saved section for both documents and answers. Saved items can be tagged, selected in bulk, shared, and reviewed later. This is useful for ongoing research, case preparation, exam preparation, compliance review, or routine reference work.

The app also includes alerts tools for tenders and jobs. In this first version, watches are stored locally on the device. Users can create and remove watches and enable push permissions from the app. This foundation prepares the app for broader notification workflows in future updates.

BDLaws uses secure sign-in with token refresh support for a smoother session experience. The app also includes a mobile-only self-service account deletion option with a grace period before permanent processing.

Important note:
BDLaws is intended for information and guidance. It does not replace advice from a qualified lawyer, tax professional, or other licensed expert. Users should verify important matters with official government sources and professional counsel where necessary.
