Dust to Cosmos: Universe Scale

Description

Dust to Cosmos is a space exploration app for iPhone and iPad built around one idea: cosmic scale should feel immersive, but it should also stay honest.

Explore connected 3D systems such as Earth and Moon, the Solar System, Jupiter's system, and Saturn's system. Move naturally from a single planet or moon into the larger system it belongs to, then inspect the data and sources behind what you are seeing.

Dust to Cosmos does not present every visual as a photograph. Each destination includes source and Truth Class context so you can tell whether a view is directly observed, derived from catalogs or ephemerides, simulated, or based on an inferred model.

Features:

- Browse more than 10,000 celestial objects and cosmic structures
- Explore planets, moons, stars, galaxies, exoplanets, and black holes
- Navigate 3D systems including Earth-Moon, Solar System, Jupiter, and Saturn
- Inspect Truth Class labels and data sources for scientific context
- Compare celestial sizes on the same scale
- Experience Journey of Light, Tonight's Sky, and the Cosmic Calendar
- Use an iPad-optimized layout with dedicated exploration and information panels
- Save, share, refresh widgets, and create wallpaper outputs

No account, subscription, or in-app purchase is required.

From one speck of dust to planets, moons, star systems, galaxies, and black holes, Dust to Cosmos helps you feel the size of the universe while keeping the boundary between observation and interpretation clear.

What's new (v2.7)

Dust to Cosmos 2.7 improves system-view readability, info-panel scrolling, and widget preview reliability.

- Clearer body labels and orbit emphasis in system views
- Smoother navigation with scrollable info panels
- More reliable 4x2 Moon widget previews using the correct asset size
- Corrected Saturn ring rotation and shadow behavior
- Expanded Spanish (Mexico), German, French, Portuguese (Brazil), and Traditional Chinese app text and metadata coverage
