Why You’ll Love It
Pregnancy is a journey of a thousand tiny miracles. This app is designed to enhance that bonding experience, providing a simple, private way to feel closer to your baby between doctor’s visits. It’s perfect for quiet evenings on the couch or sharing a special moment with a loved one who can't be there in person.
IMPORTANT MEDICAL DISCLAIMER (PLEASE READ)
This is NOT a medical device and is NOT intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Please note the following:
For Entertainment Only: This app is designed solely for bonding and entertainment purposes. It is meant to provide a fun way for parents to connect with their baby.
Not a Clinical Tool: This app cannot and does not provide any health readings or diagnostic information. It should not be used to monitor the health or well-being of the fetus.
Consult Your Doctor: Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health providers with any questions you may have regarding your pregnancy or your baby's health.
Do Not Rely on App for Safety: If you have any concerns about your pregnancy, such as changes in fetal movement or heart rate, contact a medical professional immediately. Never delay seeking medical advice because of something you heard (or did not hear) on this app.
Due to the high microphone sensitivity required, you may occasionally experience an "audio feedback loop." This can create rhythmic pulsing sounds that may be mistaken for a heartbeat. Similarly, factors such as the baby’s position, mother's placenta location, or ambient room noise may prevent the app from picking up the sound even when the baby is perfectly healthy.
Usage Timing: Heartbeats are typically easier to detect after the 20th week of pregnancy, though results vary based on the baby's position and other factors.
How to Get the Best Results
Take your phone out of its case for better microphone sensitivity.
Find a very quiet room (background noise can interfere with the recording).
Lie on your back in a comfortable position.
Slowly move the bottom of your phone (where the microphone is) across your lower abdomen.
Be patient! It may take a few tries to find the perfect spot depending on the baby's position.
Safe and Private
Your privacy is our priority. All recordings are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share them. We do not transmit your audio data to any external servers.
