THE 8-TESTS
• Standing, eyes open
• Standing, eyes closed
• Narrow stance, eyes closed
• Head turn, reactive
• Unexpected cue, eyes closed
• Forward head posture
• Dual task, arithmetic
• Dual task, verbal fluency
Vision, inner ear (vestibular), body position sensing (proprioception), and reactive control each get their own window. Dual tasks add cognitive load, because real balance in the world rarely happens in silence.

WHAT STĒLA IS AND IS NOT
Stēla is a measurement. It produces quantitative postural sway data intended for self-observation, clinical supplementation, and longitudinal tracking. It is not a diagnostic device. It does not screen for, diagnose, or treat any medical condition. Clinical judgment remains with the supervising clinician. If you have a known fall history, vestibular disorder, or neurological condition, consult a clinician before using Stēla unsupervised.

PRIVACY, PLAINLY
Your account details are stored securely, never sold, and never shared for advertising. Session data syncs to encrypted cloud infrastructure for backup and cross-device access. Account deletion is available in-app at any time.
