Moon Sighting helps you plan and verify crescent moon observations with offline calculations and practical field tools. Choose a location on the map or use your current device location, review local moon visibility guidance, and move from planning to live sky alignment in a few taps.
Use Sky to compare the Moon's position with live device motion, sunset guidance, and an optional camera background. Use Moon to inspect the phase, timing details, and Calendar with Gregorian and Islamic views that sync selected days back into the main workflow.
Moon Sighting also includes observation reminders, saved logs, and shareable sky captures. Core planning tools work on-device without account creation, keeping the app focused, private, and ready for field use.
