Household Finances is a budgeting app you run by SMS. Paid for lunch? Text "$14 Chipotle" to your Household number. It's categorized, shared with your partner, and in your budget in seconds. No app to open,
no receipt to scan, no form to fill out. Your phone's keyboard is the interface.
We built this because every other budgeting app assumes you'll stop what you're doing, unlock your phone, open an app, tap through five screens, and type in a $4 coffee. You won't. Nobody does. Household

BUILT FOR COUPLES, FAMILIES, AND INDIVIDUALS
- Link accounts with your spouse or partner — every expense is instantly shared and categorized
- Assign expenses as personal, household, or business — so your own spending stays yours but household costs are transparent
- Prefix-style categories for couples: "J Fun" and "K Fun" keep each partner's discretionary spending separate

• Composite matching: when a bank transaction is actually several manual expenses (e.g. a split Amazon order), Household Finances now groups and links them automatically.
• Top Merchants report: see who you're spending the most with, with similar merchants grouped together.
• Partners can edit shared household accounts directly.
• Improved SMS category matching — particularly for prefixed personal categories like "J Fun" or "K Care".
• Fixed: Verify tab no longer snaps back after you pick a new category.
• Fixed: various small reliability improvements to statement uploads and phone verification.
