Description
Percy is like having a friend in the garden who you can talk to. Percy remembers everything for you and turns every note you share into a gorgeous record of your season. (Your friends should start doing that).
WHAT PERCY DOES:
LISTENS
Hold to talk, like a walkie-talkie. No forms to fill in or plant variety dropdowns to configure. Just talk about your garden, share a photo if you like, and Percy figures out the rest. The dahlias you planted. The hummingbird that visited. The questionable bug that needed ID to be allowed admission. Percy understands what you say, captures and organizes all of it for you.
REMEMBERS
Every note becomes part of your garden’s story in The Nest. It’s like having a coffee table book about your garden that writes a new page every time you share something. Share photos along with your notes and you can revisit memories of the garden and see your plants grow from seed to harvest. At the end of the season Percy gives you a complete picture of your garden that no gardener has ever had before.
ORGANIZES
Instead of tracking your garden on grids and Gantt charts, Percy organizes everything for you in The Nest. All the plants you’re growing. All the photos you share. Just say “I just planted the tomatoes” or “The tomatoes are ripening.” or “The squirrels ate the tomatoes FML.” Percy logs it in its own section and remembers it for you (even if you’d rather not).
ANSWERS
Percy answers your questions like a garden advisor. Ask something you’d normally ask Google or post to an internet forum and get a real answer based on your actual garden, not some generic growing advice. Percy knows your zone, your frost dates and everything you’ve grown and logged. Ask why your tomatoes are struggling and Percy gives you the answer based on your garden, not a stranger’s.
IDENTIFIES
Share a photo of the things you see and Percy can identify them. Ask it if this plant is a weed. If this bug is a friend or a foe. Percy will give you an answer that’s actually useful. (Not its latin name, geographic distribution and wikipedia entry). It says what it means for you and your garden. Anything you ID, you can ask Percy to remember. So if you see a plant and can’t remember if it’s one you planted on purpose (not that we’ve ever done that) Percy can let you know, and remember it for when you forget again next year (which we will).
KINDA GEEKS OUT
Percy keeps an eye on the weather and records the conditions every time you share a note. It can track the temperature, humidity, hours of daylight of your location, if there’s a chance of frost on Thursday. By next season, you’ll have something no spreadsheet has ever had: a weather-correlated history of your garden.
THE COMPLETE STORY OF YOUR SEASON
At the end of the season, Percy will create your Migration Report. A beautiful year-in-review keepsake of everything that happened in your garden. Your most-mentioned plants. Your seasonal timeline. The challenges, the victories, the varieties worth growing again and the ones we shall never speak of again. Your garden’s story, assembled automatically from a season of moments you narrated while standing in the sunshine.
Your first Migration Report will be part of your free season. It will become your planning document for next year, except you didn’t have to write any of it. Starting in year two, it will include side-by-side comparisons with last season: what improved, what patterns emerged, what you learned. That’s when it gets really fun.
PERFECT FOR YOU IF…
You've finished a season and couldn't remember half of what happened
You'd rather be in the garden than managing an app about it
You want to understand your garden, not just log it
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your garden is yours. Percy doesn't sell your data. Ever.
FREE TO USE
Percy is completely free to try out for the 2026 growing season. No credit cards, no in app purchases to use it. In January you can decide if Percy has earned a place in your garden.
