Description
Salary Tracker is an income-first tracker for people who work multiple jobs, freelance gigs, or any mix of hourly, daily, and monthly pay. Designed for clarity over complexity, it shows your real take-home picture — gross, allowances, deductions, expenses, and what's actually left — across day, week, month, quarter, and year.
KEY FEATURES
• Multiple workplaces — Set up jobs with hourly, daily, or monthly pay. Each workplace has its own pay rate, overtime rules, allowances, deductions, icon, and color.
• Smart shift logging — Add shifts via calendar grid or vertical timeline. Tap a date to log a shift; tap a saved shift to edit. Templates from history make repeat schedules effortless.
• Income breakdown — See gross shift income, monthly allowances (commute, year-end bonus), and deductions (insurance, tax, fees) line by line. Net take-home is calculated automatically.
• Lightweight expense tracking — Log expenses with date, amount, category, and note. Nine default categories plus your own custom ones. Recurring monthly expenses for rent, phone, subscriptions are generated automatically.
• Period reports — Week, month, quarter, year views show income, expenses, and remaining cash. Per-shift detail and category breakdowns help you spot trends. Export CSV (Excel, Numbers, Sheets) or PDF.
• Multiple users — Switch between profiles for different roles, family members, or tracking experiments. Each profile keeps separate data.
• 9 languages — Vietnamese, English, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Portuguese, Russian, Korean, Hindi. Default expense categories follow your selected language.
• Privacy first — All data stays on your device. No cloud account, no sign-in, no data sent to a server.
JAPAN TAKE-HOME PLUS (Optional in-app purchase)
Workers in Japan can unlock detailed take-home estimates based on the 2026 tax and insurance rules:
• Pension (Nenkin / 厚生年金) and social insurance (Shakai hoken)
• Health insurance with prefecture-specific rates
• Employment insurance (雇用保険)
• Income tax withholding tables (甲欄 / 乙欄)
• Resident tax (auto estimate, manual notice, or hybrid)
• Domestic and overseas dependents (NTA-compliant)
• Custom health rate override
• Use this month's income as gross input
Available as a $0.99/month auto-renewing subscription or a $9.99 lifetime one-time purchase. Results are estimates and do not replace official payslips, employer payroll, the tax office, or professional advice.
WHO IT'S FOR
• Baito (アルバイト) and part-time workers across multiple jobs
• Haken (派遣) dispatched workers tracking variable hours
• Salaried employees who want a clearer picture of net pay
• Freelancers managing irregular income
• Anyone working in Japan who wants to understand their payslip
PRIVACY AND DATA
Your salary, shift, expense, and tax-input data is stored locally on your device only. The app does not require an account and does not transmit personal data. The optional Japan Take-home Plus uses RevenueCat for purchase validation, which receives an anonymous purchase identifier and receipt — no salary or income data leaves the device.
SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Japan Take-home Plus Monthly is an auto-renewing subscription billed at $0.99/month (or your local equivalent). It renews automatically until canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel at Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.

What's new (v1.1.3)
What's New in 1.1.3
This release brings a complete redesign of the in-app guide, full localization of expenses across all 9 supported languages, the launch of Japan Take-home Plus, and several quality-of-life fixes.
NEW
• In-app usage guide — A 12-step tour now walks through every section of the app: dashboard, shifts, workplace setup, expenses, recurring expenses, reports, settings sub-sections, language switching, and the new Japan Take-home Plus calculator. Each step includes a real screenshot from your selected language.
• Japan Take-home Plus — The optional Pro feature for users working in Japan is now live. Estimates Nenkin, Shakai hoken (kenkō / kaigo / pension), employment insurance, withholding tax (甲欄 / 乙欄), and resident tax based on the 2026 rules. Available as a $0.99/month subscription or $9.99 lifetime purchase.
• Full expense localization — All 53 expense and recurring-expense labels are now translated to Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Portuguese, Russian, Korean, and Hindi.
• Dynamic IAP pricing — The paywall buttons now show the actual localized price from the App Store instead of fallback hardcoded prices.
IMPROVEMENTS
• "Today's income" card no longer shows a confusing negative number when there are no shifts that day. Today's value now reflects only earnings from the current day's shifts; period-prorated deductions are kept in the week, month, and year cards where they make sense.
• Deduction display now correctly shows percent values (for example "Withholding tax 3%") instead of treating them as flat amounts.
• Workplace cards in Settings show a clearer breakdown of allowances and deductions with proper unit suffixes (per day / per month / per year).
• Recurring expenses generated automatically when their due date arrives are kept in your history even if you later remove the recurring rule.
FIXES
• Math consistency across week, month, and year cards has been verified across all 9 languages.
• Profile data migration from older versions now handles missing allowance and deduction arrays without errors.
• Language switching now correctly updates 9 default expense category names while preserving any custom names you have set.
PRIVACY
• All salary, shift, expense, and tax-input data continues to stay on your device. The new Japan Take-home Plus uses RevenueCat purely for purchase validation; no income or salary data is transmitted.
