Tonos — Tune Nervous System

by David Jacobson

v1.4.0 69 MB Universal 4+

Description

Tonos teaches the seven Hermetic principles: mind, correspondence, vibration, polarity, rhythm, causation, and generation, through produced one- to two-minute sessions. Each teaching pairs a narrated thesis with a frequency-anchored musical bed, scene-specific Canvas visuals, and a distinct haptic cadence. The result is a lesson that lands in the body as well as the mind.

Around the canon are five larger surfaces:

• The Invitation: a 60-second cinematic opening that introduces the framework on first launch and can be replayed at any time.

• The Seven Shadows: a darker companion teaching for each principle — the loud mind, the false pattern, the restless body, the split self, the stuck current, the haunted cause, the transactional exchange — paired so the Seven becomes a fuller spine.

• The Symphony: a ten-minute journey through all seven principles in sequence, culminating in a lit heptagon finale.

• The Codex: a written book mode that extends each teaching with longer-form prose.

• The Measurements: science cards citing peer-reviewed work on the Schumann resonance, heart coherence, vagal tone, neuroplasticity, and the body's own biophotons. Educational, not clinical.

Tonos runs on iPhone and iPad, offline-first. There is no account, no network activity at runtime, and no tracking. The app is designed for daily tuning, a single minute between the noise, and it treats the user as intelligent rather than fragile.

What's new (v1.4.0)

The Lock Screen, tuned.

Walk The Reset or The Long Symphony and your phase, breath, and time ride along on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

A new Path traces your pilgrimage — initiate to adept — across every teaching you walk. Your Chronicle keeps the private record. Codex chains connect each teaching to its longer-form essay. The Adept ceremony marks the moment you've walked all seven, twice over.

Quieter wins: the Library opens to your most recent walk, the sleep timer respects pause and seek, and a long-standing haptic race during The Reset has been retired.

Tune your nervous system.
