Wrap up your night out with Tips and Cookies — the easiest way to calculate tips, split the bill, and end the evening on a positive note by presented with one or more delightful fortune cookies. Quickly enter your check amount, slide to choose your tip, and tap to instantly see your total. Whether you're double-checking the math or settling up with friends, everything is clear, fast, and effortless. Then comes the fun part: crack open a virtual fortune cookie and enjoy one or more randomly selected, uplifting messages to brighten your evening. App specifics: The app consists of 3 views: A Launch view, Input view and a Summary view. App Launch screen provides button to take user to the Input view allowing entry of check amount and selection of tip percentage via slider bar. Once Calculate Tip and Total button clicked validation performed to ensure that Check Amount field is not blank. If Check Amount is valid the Summary view displays. Summary view includes an easy to understand recap of the Check Amount, Tip Amount, Total and Tip percentage. A REDO button returns user to Input view to start over, adjust tip %, etc. Summary view also includes a fortune cookie image and a randomly selected and always positive/feel good fortune cookie message. Fortune cookie messages are included in the app and will be updated via future app releases. At present 25 messages are included in the app. To effortlessly settle up with friends, Summary view also includes an optional Split Check button with drop down to allow user to enter a 2 to 10 number that splits the total amount. Lastly, an option is present to generate additional fortune cookie messages for you or other guests, as a fun way to end the evening. All included fortune cookie messages may be cycled through via the Another Cookie button.
