SAI Mini

v1.5 8 MB Universal 4+

Description

SAI Mini is the free version of our color management tool that lets you create and share color chip PDFs entirely on your iPhone or iPad, without needing a PC.

Quickly pick colors on site, organize them into palettes, and export them as PDFs on the spot. Ideal for meeting materials, production instructions, color specifications, and design reviews.

Select colors from photos, a color wheel, sliders, or HEX input, and check your created colors in HEX, RGB, HSB, and CMYK. Chosen colors are listed as color chips that you can reorder by dragging, and then export as a PDF.

Except for sharing and exporting PDFs, the main features do not require an internet connection. Create color chips on your iPhone or iPad even in locations with poor signal, such as airplanes, underground, or outdoors. Use AirDrop to quickly share with nearby colleagues or clients.

[SAI Mini Limitations]
This app is a free, ad-supported version. You can use all the same features as the paid version (SAI+) within the following limits:

Maximum of 5 colors per list

Maximum of 10 saved color lists
If you need to save more colors or lists and prefer an ad-free experience, please consider the paid version "SAI+".

How to Use:

Pick a color from a photo, color wheel, slider, or HEX input.

Tap "ADD" to add it to your color list.

Arrange up to 5 necessary colors.

Drag to reorder the colors.

Export as a PDF from the LIST screen.

Share via AirDrop, Email, Messages, etc.

Tap a saved color list's name to rename it.

The exported PDFs can be used for meeting materials, production instructions, color specs, and design reviews. HEX, RGB, HSB, and CMYK values within the PDF are recorded as text, making them easy to check, edit, and hand off to production workflows when opened in software like Illustrator.

Compatible with both iPhone and iPad. Quickly pick colors on site with your iPhone, or use your iPad's large screen to create and review palettes.

Designed for situations where colors need to be communicated accurately: graphic design, illustration, UI design, printing, signage, displays, painting, and on-site production.

More than just selecting colors, it's a tool to organize them into palettes and seamlessly hand them off to clients or your production workflow.

Photos remain on your device. Access to photos is used solely for the purpose of extracting colors from the images you select.

Note: Colors extracted from photos are an approximation based on the image's pixels. They may differ from actual physical colors due to shooting environment, lighting, white balance, shadows, reflections, image corrections, and device display settings.

Note: Even with the same RGB values, on-screen appearance may vary depending on the iPhone/iPad model, display settings, brightness, True Tone, Night Shift, and ambient lighting.

Note: Color chips in the PDF are drawn as vector data based on the RGB values at the time of creation. HEX, RGB, HSB, and CMYK values are also recorded as text, allowing you to check and reference the numerical values when opened in Illustrator. If the PDF is resampled, the resulting values may differ from the original colors due to display environments and other factors.

Note: CMYK values are simple conversions based on RGB values. Actual printed colors may vary depending on the printing environment, paper, ink, and color profiles.
