Description
Respira aggregates air quality, pollen levels, UV index and weather into a single 0-100 score personalized for you. No login, no accounts, no tracking — open the app and see directly how the environment is in your area.
WHAT RESPIRA DOES FOR YOU
• Daily environmental score adapted to your allergies, respiratory conditions, age, physical activity and skin phototype.
• Hourly forecast for the next 24 hours with the worst moment of the day highlighted.
• Smart alerts: "take your antihistamine before going out", "avoid intense exercise", "high UV, sun protection needed".
• Spain-specific risk models for cupressaceae (November-March) and plane tree (March-April), filling gaps where official pollen networks don't cover.
OFFICIAL SPANISH DATA SOURCES
We connect to 8 regional aerobiology networks — palinocam (Madrid), XAC (Catalunya/Balearics), AVAIC (Valencia), Zaragoza, REA (Andalusia), UGR (Granada), Castilla y León, Euskadi. Where there's no local network, we use CAMS/Copernicus (European model). For weather and UV, Open-Meteo. Zero invented data.
MONITORED POLLUTANTS
PM2.5, PM10, NO₂, O₃, SO₂. We adjust recommendations to WHO guidelines and your personal vulnerability (an asthmatic sees a lower score than a healthy adult for the same air).
MONITORED POLLEN
Grass, olive, birch, alder, mugwort, ragweed, plane, cypress/juniper, sycamore, plantain, parietaria, salsola — depending on regional availability.
OPTIONAL CLINICAL PERSONALIZATION
If you know your IgE levels from blood work (ImmunoCAP classes 0-6), you can input them so the algorithm amplifies sensitivity to the specific pollen that affects you. Same with your Fitzpatrick phototype for UV radiation.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
No accounts. Your configuration (sensitivities, locations) lives only on your device, in localStorage. We don't send it to any server. The only time we touch your email is if you voluntarily subscribe to the weekly newsletter.
