If you’ve ever felt like “I did nothing, yet the whole day is gone” - this app is made for you.
This app, CatFocus, was built by a developer with ADHD.
I’ve tried countless Pomodoro timers and productivity apps on the market. None of them worked for me.
A 25-minute countdown? My brain can’t even stay focused for 10 minutes.
To-do lists? I write them down and then forget they exist.
Eventually, I realized something:
The problem isn’t a lack of discipline - it’s that I literally can’t feel time passing.
It’s what people call time blindness.
So I built CatFocus.
The idea is simple:
Don’t force your brain to focus - just let it see time.

HOW IT WORKS
Every day, a small animal has been captured.
All you need to do is stay engaged for 4-6 hours, and you can rescue it.
You don’t need to stay in a constant focus mode.
Because unless you’re in a hyperfocus state, an ADHD brain simply can’t sustain long periods of attention.
So I designed five modes:
Focus
Cruise
Meditation
Exercise
Drift
These cover almost everything you do while awake.
Switch freely. Log casually.
At the end of the day, open the timeline and you’ll clearly see where your 24 hours actually went.
For someone who has never understood where time disappears to, this can be surprisingly powerful.

WHAT YOU GET
A new animal to rescue every day.
Each one has its own personality, hidden details, and a small story.
Five activity modes.
Not just a focus timer. You can log meditation, exercise, meetings, or even zoning out.
Every block of time has a label, so you won’t have those “What did I do for 3 hours?” moments anymore.
Daily intention and anti-intention.
What do you want to become today?
What do you want to avoid becoming today?
This system helps you recalibrate your direction.
Calendar and timeline.
Every day is recorded and easy to review.

WHY IT’S DIFFERENT
Most productivity tools assume you can already feel time. They just give you a timer.
But ADHD is not about needing a timer.
It’s about not having an internal sense of time at all.
CatFocus doesn’t force discipline.
It simply lays your time out in front of you.
You drifted for 2 hours.
You focused for 4 hours.
You meditated for 20 minutes.
When time becomes visible, you naturally start adjusting without relying on willpower.
