Smart mode uses a 3rd-party AI service (DeepSeek) for tone-aware translation. The text you choose to translate is sent over HTTPS for processing. Nothing else is collected.

• Redesigned onboarding — combined keyboard setup into one screen, with a guided "try it" finale where you actually use Nuance live before finishing.
• Hero tone-flip demo now shows the same English line translated into casual vs. formal Mandarin (你 vs. 您) — the core nuance Nuance is named for.
• Free Smart-mode trial — 10 cloud-powered translations on us. Add your own DeepSeek key in Settings to keep going for free, or tell us what you think via the in-app feedback form to unlock more.
• Recents now capture every translation you accept, including the "keep keyboard open" path.
• Cleaner setup checklist — optional steps are now labeled so you know what you can skip.
• Bug fixes around the keyboard / Allow Full Access detection.
