Pinned Nature Journal

Pinned helps you identify plants, birds, insects, fish, and other living things from photos, then keep them in a private nature journal.

Use the camera or your photo library to save plants, birds, fish, insects, and other living things you notice. Pinned keeps each record organized with photos, capture time, place information when available, notes, and species identification, so casual moments can grow into a personal index of the nature around you.

Your records are private by default. Pinned is not a social network or a check-in app: this version does not include public posts, follows, comments, leaderboards, or public profiles.

With Pinned, you can:

- Save nature records from the camera or photo library
- Preserve capture time and place context from photos when available
- Identify and organize species automatically
- Browse your own catalog by category
- See field sets grow from what you have actually recorded
- Add or correct species manually when needed
- Link Apple ID so your records can sync across devices
- Recover interrupted saves when a record does not finish
- Delete individual records or your account from Settings

Pinned is free to download and includes 30 starter automatic-identification credits. When those credits run out, you can buy consumable identification credit packs as needed. Basic recording, manual organization, privacy controls, sync, and account deletion do not require buying more credits.

Photo storage in this version supports private records, automatic identification, cross-device sync, and account deletion cleanup. This version does not sell cloud-photo storage, does not include subscriptions, and does not offer social promotion tools.
