THE SCORE:
Every product starts at 100 and earns deductions for what it contains. Every penalty is visible on the "Why this score" sheet — no black boxes, no paid placements.

• Nutri-Score D / E: −15 / −25 pts
• Each harmful ingredient (seed oils, dyes, sweeteners, preservatives): −5 pts

• Microplastics confirmed or likely from packaging: up to −10 pts
• PFAS confirmed or likely from packaging: up to −15 pts
CONTAMINANTS:
Tallow surfaces independent lab data from oasishealth.app, oliveapp.com, EWG, Consumer Reports, FDA testing, and PubMed-indexed studies. If a reputable lab measured it and published the result, Tallow surfaces it — with a citation link to the source.
NOVA CLASSIFICATION:
Every product is sorted into one of four NOVA groups. Group 4 (ultra-processed) is flagged on sight. The food industry has spent decades making ultra-processed look natural. Tallow reads the back.
