SideQuest - Just Because

SideQuest gives you one small weird thing to do each day, and one bigger quest each week. That's the whole app.

A quest might be "compliment three strangers before lunch," "eat a meal outside today," or "lie on the floor for 10 minutes." Each one is small enough to actually do, weird enough to feel different from your normal Tuesday.

What SideQuest does:
• Picks one quest a day, deterministically — same day, same quest, no rerolling
• Picks a slower weekly quest you can chip at across the week
• Remembers what you've completed, on your phone, so it doesn't repeat itself for a couple weeks
• Shows a quiet streak counter, because honestly, streaks work
• Stays out of your way the rest of the time

What it doesn't do:
• Make you sign up for an account
• Send anything to a server
• Track behavior, collect analytics, or use ads
• Lock anything behind a subscription
• Notify you constantly — two optional reminders, both off by default

Quests rotate through small categories — creative, social, brave, chill, outdoor, mind, foodie, random — so you can ignore what isn't your thing.

Everything you do lives only on this device. There's no server because there's no account because there's nothing worth saving anywhere else. Uninstall the app or hit "Delete account & data" in Settings, and it's gone for good.
