Description

StreetLore turns the world around you into living stories.

Walk through any neighborhood. Drive through any city. Point your camera toward a landmark. StreetLore narrates the stories, history, and hidden context around you in real time.

No itinerary. No tour group. No rigid route to follow. No sign-up. Free.

Just open the app and explore.

FEATURES

• Real-time audio storytelling
Hear stories automatically as you walk or drive. StreetLore speaks up when something nearby is worth knowing.

• Works anywhere
Curated in 100+ cities. Beyond those, StreetLore dynamically generates stories from nearby places and landmarks in real time.

• Vision Mode
Point your camera toward a building or landmark and StreetLore finds the most likely place and lets you hear its story.

• Lock screen & Dynamic Island
See what's playing without unlocking your phone.

• 11 languages
Hear stories in English, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Português, 日本語, 中文, 한국어, العربية, and हिन्दी.

• Walk together
Start a shared session with friends or family. Everyone hears the same stories synced to the host's location — each in their own language.

• Context-aware narration
StreetLore adapts to where you are, where you're moving, time of day, nearby landmarks, and the character of the area around you. It also knows when to stay quiet — silence is part of the experience.

No ads. No tracking. Location is used only while you're on a walk, never between sessions. Full policy at streetlore.app/privacy.

Whether you're traveling somewhere new or rediscovering your own neighborhood, every street has a story.

What's new (v1.0.2)

This update makes StreetLore smarter and smoother on every walk and drive:

• Stories surface ahead of you. The map now lights up with what's coming and narrations play back-to-back — less waiting, more listening.
• Directional arrows point you toward the stories nearby, so you always know what's around the corner.
• Big landmarks narrate sooner. Palaces, parks, and campuses with large grounds now trigger even when you're walking the perimeter — not just at the center.
• Smoother maps. Auto-recenter while driving, and you can freely pan around a tour route without the map snapping back.
• Walk together. Friends in a party now hear the same story you do, in sync.
• Faster, more varied openings when you start exploring.
• Dozens of audio and stability fixes for a more reliable, less repetitive experience.
