About AppStore-Discounts

AppStore-Discounts is an independent service that tracks Apple App Store price drops in real time.

How it works

Our crawler queries the public Apple iTunes API multiple times a day to track prices of the most popular apps (top 100 paid, top 50 free) on the US, UK and France stores. Every significant drop is recorded and shown on the site immediately.

Price alerts

You can create a free alert on any app. Set your target price and we'll email you as soon as the app reaches it. No account required, just your email.

For developers

If you're a developer and you plan a temporary price drop, submit it to us for free. After manual review, it will appear on the site.

Data sources

All data comes from Apple's public API (iTunes Search API, iTunes Lookup API, Apple Marketing Tools RSS). No data is collected from users except the email used for alerts (removable any time via the opt-out link in every email).
