Description

You used to be really good at swimming.
Now you swim at the public lap pool. You share lanes with snorkel triathletes. You're trying to get back, but you don't have time to think about what to swim every time you show up.
Do Sides? builds your set so you don't have to.

OVERLY-COMPLEX™ WORKOUT GENERATOR
The app reads your swim and every other workout from Apple Health, runs a 10-step calculator (recovery score, stimulus rotation, rest-corrected yard budgets, progressive breathing sets) and builds a workout that fits what you've actually been doing this week. EN1, EN2, EN3, SP, technique. Proper periodization. Deload weeks. Benchmark sets every 4th week. Shapes rotate automatically — no back-to-back repeats.

DELIVERED TO YOUR APPLE WATCH
Lock in the set and it goes straight to your Watch via WorkoutKit. Send-offs, rest intervals, drill instructions — all on your wrist mid-swim. Phone goes in the locker.

YOUR PROGRESS, TRACKED
The Books tab logs every swim back from Apple Health. PR detection. Lungbuster progression (every 3 → every 5 → every 7 → ladder → every 9 → The Sufferer). Benchmark trending. Milestones. Shareable card for your group chat.

WHO IT'S FOR
- Former USA Swimming / NCAA swimmers now in their 30s and 40s
- Masters swimmers who used to compete and want structure again
- Anyone who can recite the difference between EN2 and EN3 from memory (if not, we have a glossary)

NOT FOR
- Learning to swim
- Open water / triathlon training
- General fitness (unless you like to push yourself)

ON YOUR DATA
The app reads Apple Health, read-only. No backend, no account, no third-party analytics, no tracking. Everything stays on your phone.

What's new (v0.6.3 (9))

Ease it. There's a third control on Today's Set now, for the days you're not feeling it. Tap it and the session gets genuinely lighter — about a third fewer yards, easy aerobic or technique, no speed set. Today only; tomorrow you're back on program.

Swap actually swaps. Pick the kind of work you want in plain words — easy aerobic, threshold, race pace, sprint, technique — and it can now overrule a deload or an easing-back week, because those are the program pacing itself, not your joints talking. When something does stop it, it tells you which thing.

The watch says what to swim. Round sets reach your wrist with an actual instruction instead of just "Round 1," and stroke and gear come with them — a kick set says kick, a backstroke cooldown admits it's backstroke.

Your goals tell the truth. A goal you finished stays finished, with the date. "Four weeks in a row" now counts four weeks in a row at your real target. And your longest nonstop swim reads actual unbroken swimming — heads up, your number may drop.
